F.lli Branca Distillerie

OBJECT OF SERVICE

ASACERT performed the Estimation service for insurance purposes of direct damages for F.lli Branca Distillerie. Founded in 1845 by Bernardino Branca, Fratelli Branca today has 170 years of history under its belt and is present in more than 160 countries.

The range of products is really wide: from the famous Fernet-Branca (invented by the founder himself as a medicinal remedy) to the more recent Brancamenta and Caffè Borghetti, but also brandy, brandies, vermouths, wines and sparkling wines.

A iconic brand of our country, repeatedly recognized by the state: from the title of “Conte of Romanesque transmissible for meritoriousness in industry and welfare” awarded by King Victor Emmanuel III in ’38 to Dino Branca, to the appointment to “Knight of Labor” in 2011 for Niccolò Branca, the newest member of the family to lead the company.

In addition to the distilleries today, the Branca Tower, the family’s tribute to the city of Milan, which can be admired today in the heart of Parco Sempione, and the Branca Museum, in which to retrace the development of the production cycle surrounded by objects, sculptures and documents of the period, also bear the Branca name.

SERVICE

Fratelli Branca contracted ASACERT to perform the service of Estimation for insurance purposes on the buildings and general facilities owned by the company.

The estimate prepared by the ASACERT team was conducted for insurance purposes, in accordance with the Policy Conditions, for the following groupings of values and estimated assets:

• Furniture and equipment present at the plant in via Resegone, Milan
• Machinery, including product production lines (Fernet, Borghetti Coffee, etc.)
• Facilities, such as those for bottling and transportation.

RESULT

Thanks to the high technical expertise of its team, ASACERT conducted an accurate assessment of the appraisal objects, enabling Fratelli Branca to take out a suitable insurance policy.
