- Ducal Palace
- Correr Museum
- Ca’ Rezzonico
- Ca’ Pesaro
- Glass Museum
- natural History Museum
- Mocenigo Palace
- Fortuny Museum
SERVICE
Asacert evaluators examined and photographed each work. Following the completion of the inspections, they carried out a check of the various paintings/art objects to assign each a suitable market value. The estimate also took into account elements such as the quality of the work (since not all works by an artist are of the same level), the dimensions (generally large works are worth more than small ones, with exceptions), the dating (artists have better and worse periods), style (i.e. whether the work was particularly challenging for the artist and best expresses his poetics), reviews (i.e. the critical success of the work, exhibitions in which he participated), public feedback, publication and cataloging of the work and finally, the interest rate of the Artistic Market.
RESULT
An analytical file was drawn up, in which the results of the work were reported and represented with description, value and image of the work examined. The guidelines that inspired the MUVE’s collection of works of art, composed of an artistic heritage of significant commercial value, were based on a mainly comparative approach. Furthermore, the quality and frequency of exhibition activity and biographical and art critical information were taken into account. In addition, obviously, to the analysis of the property in question, considered in its typological and artistic specificities.
Among the artists present, Tintoretto, Canova, Klee have a wide-ranging market, which the evaluation obviously took into account. Furthermore, a series of other “minor” works take on an appreciation of value both for their location within the MUVE and for their consistency as for the collections present at the Correr Museum.
