Green Public Procurement (CAM)
DESCRIPTION
The introduction of the mandatory application, in the construction sector, of the October 11, 2017 Ministerial Decree “Green Public Procurement for the contracting of design services and works for the new construction, renovation and maintenance of public buildings” so-called Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM), has had a tangible impact on public procurement, both design and construction.
The Decree is part of the Action Plan for the Environmental Sustainability of Public Administration Consumption (NAP GPP) with the intention of encouraging the spread of so-called “green procurement“.
