Bisagno Stream
WORK DETAILS.
The Stable Infrastructure Consortium has entrusted ASACERT with the task of carrying out the in-progress technical inspection service for the functional rehabilitation of the cover of the Bisagno Creek’s terminal section with improvement of runoff conditions and urban and road reorganization of the neighboring areas.
Over the past four decades, the Bisagno has overflowed several times, flooding large portions of the city of Genoa. Therefore, it became necessary to resurface the stream bed structures along Brigate Partigiane Avenue with the lowering of the existing bottom by about 2 meters, remodeling of the longitudinal profile to improve water runoff conditions, and the extension of the mouth towards the sea.
In April 2015, work began on the construction of the works of the 2nd section of the 2nd lot in the section between Via Diaz and Via Santa Zita, covering an extension of about 200 meters.
SERVICE
ASACERT performed the Technical Inspection on the structural works during the construction phases of the work and issued the positive opinion that allowed the client to take out the ten-year posthumous policy as per practice.
